Wowsea Paddle Boards was born out of passion and necessity in 2015 when three Wharton School students, Gerald, Lucia, and Michael, fell in love with paddleboarding.

They found the available boards unstable, undurable, and costly. Leaving their MBA careers behind, they launched WOWSEA in 2017 with a mission to create affordable, stable, durable, and visually appealing paddleboards.

With a customer-focused approach, the team dedicated their efforts to ensuring consumer happiness and environmental sustainability.

Leveraging their business acumen and innovative supply chain strategies like JIT (Just-In-Time), they successfully offered top-tier paddleboards at 30-40% less cost.

Moreover, WOWSEA’s product development results from direct feedback from the paddling community, further aligning it with consumer needs.
