Introducing the Thurso Prodigy Junior SUP – a 7’6″ inflatable stand-up paddleboard designed for junior paddlers.
This versatile all-around paddleboard caters to young paddlers of all levels. The recommended capacity is 36 kilograms, while its maximum is 75 kilograms.
Like its counterparts, the Thurso Prodigy Junior SUP prides itself on having the strongest iSUP structure. Thanks to its double-layer construction enhanced with triple or quad military-grade PVC coatings on the deck and side.
The deck comprises a two-layer PVC-coated tarpaulin bonded to a PVC-coated drop stitch core, further reinforced by two extra PVC layers on the sides. The result is an inflatable SUP board that boasts the durability of a hardboard while retaining the convenience and lightweight properties of an inflatable board.
Complementing this junior SUP is a superior carbon shaft paddle, which outperforms those made from aluminium or fibreglass.
Its three-piece construction ensures portability while being adjustable from 140 cm to 178 cm. The blade, made from tough nylon composite and reinforced with a centre rib, stands strong against strain and warping.
The Thurso Prodigy Junior SUP features three removable fins, offering two different setups. With all three fins installed, the board provides optimum stability and manoeuvrability, making it ideal for navigating rough waters.
By utilising just the centre fin, the board promises the best tracking and lowest drag – a setup ideal for achieving straight speed and for flat water conditions. The quick-lock fin installation is effortless – slide in and clip, no tools necessary.
